I was attempting to set up specific ships for a race of aliens. When i activated Alien deployment, it activated it for the first alien race in my game, but when i chose the option to re-assign the ship to a different race, and chose the race i wanted, it says "Disabling alien deployment for "tralfmagorians"", the race it was initialized for, and says press any key, but wont respond to any commands.
Any ideas? Im not too keen on just closing tedit, that data corruption messege makes me nervous.

As opposed to making a new thread to ask this (im having a blast with gold, shoulda bought it from the start but i didnt have enough $$).
Is there any way to hide the "The <alien> are on the move" messege in the whos online view? Ive got an alien race set to enable 23 days in, but i dont want my players to know about them until they show up.

No there is no way to disable it. Also depending on how your alien is set up it may not enter the game correctly at day 23, I have found that you need to have the alien either start on day 1 with the others or leave it out all together until you want it then physically add it at that time or the planets and home sectors will not be made for them. It also couldnt hurt to try and find a way to reserve the next planet number for their planet, that may have something to do with the planet not being created. Example...Terra is always planet 1, Ferrengi are always planet 2, then your other aliens come in from there so if your alien is the next race then it should be planet 3. And watch out for changes to planet 2, the game always thinks this is Ferrengal, if you have it set to invicible Ferrengal and your running a game without aliens and someone creates planet 2 they will not be able to blow it up and you will have to edit it out of the game.

Yes, I know, but I want specifics! Name, time, places, people, things... Uh... You get the point!
