Singularity, as usual, has brought up a fact that I didn't know about. It seems that when podded by an Interdictor, you have some chance of fleeing the sector the ship is in. Is there a reason that sometimes you can flee the sector and sometimes the Interdictor prevents you from escaping?

Just hit me... maybe that's version or MBBS/Gold specific. Good question. Hmm.

its something like, if you ping off the IG, your pod won't flee, if you don't ping, you will flee normal.

It's something like, a lot of people talk about stuff without knowing what they're talking about. IG's don't seem to affect pod flee. Test it. At times pods don't flee (mainly in games that are hightly figged), but I haven't been able to reproduce it in test situations. Normally, in really active, good games, you can almost count on a pod not fleeing.

The only time that my pod does not flee from planet IG is when there is NavHaz in the sector I came from (started in). I havent experienced this too many times.. so many thats not the reason why. Just something I noticed.

Might it have anything to do with having your Online Flee Enabled or Disabled?

ok, i discussed with harley, and it appears we had this conversation like a year ago, heh.
pod fleeing in general is quirky, it depends on how you die.
it has yet to be proven if IG/PIG 100% affects pod fleeing.
