Hey everyone, not sure if this is the proper forum for this but oh well. Occasionally when I load up a TWX script it spits back a bunch of garbage at me while loading and executing the script. Here's a cap: (sorry that it's so long and ugly)

it seems to be spitting back past actions at me. Scripts like 1_login still work, but other scripts halt because of all the garbage. A reboot makes it go away for a while, but it invariably comes back. I registered SWATH and a few hours later this started happening. Is it a problem from enabling Java? (I started using a few rev scripts after I reg'd swath) Anyone else ever experience anything like this? Thanks

ive seen this type of problem before. it has to do with twx, not swath (as i use zoc). i believe it happens when the twx database becomes corrupted for one reason or another...? i DO know how frickin annoying it is to have everything running fine and all of the sudden you fire up a script and it spews some past garbage back at you. try deleting your database (yeah i know it sucks, specially if you are in important game/full ztm 20k sects/etc..) but thats the only way i know of solving the problem.

Would exporting the data to Swath, deleting the TWX database, and then importing the data back into TWX work?

Resetting the TWX DB and then importing from Swath yea..
you'll loose some info but it's better than nothing

what version of twx proxy are you using. I know older versions had lots of problems like this.

Well I'm having a problem with TWX as well hopefully someone can help me out..

Basically I run a Swath/TWX combo like most others..It worked fine untill recently.

Basically Swath still run fines, but before I load Swath, I try to load up TWX and it basically slows down my entire computer, and never even starts up.. It errors out, with some type error code, which a researched, and it seems to have something to do with memory, but I have PLENTLY on memory on this computer.

close twgs, go to your twx/logs directory and delete 'em all if you don't want them.. extra logs probably won't slow you down unless your HD is almost completely full.. but using a 60meg daily log might slow things down.. if you're playing high turn/unlim games, your logs might fill up pretty quickly

then again, I may be waaay off base. But I'd start there.

That doesnt sound quite like the problem I'm having.. I'm not running my OWN game.. I am playing a game on ultimatetw.com that is invite only.. and the problem is not with the game, or his server.

The problem is on my end with TWX Proxy.. Basically it does not want to load. I run the file, and I get the cursor arrow with the hourglass, but nothing ever loads up, and it also boggs down my computer REAL bad! Then after about 5 minutes of it "Looking" like it trying to load, I get a little pop-up error message, with an error code i think 1043 or something, which I did a websearch on, and seems to be a memory problem.... Whats also weird is that TWX Proxy seems to be the ONLY program doing this to me..

He meant close twx, not close twgs. Then delete any logs/game data for twx. Then start it back up and see if that fixes it.

All I had to do to fix it was go to twx set up, delete that particular game, then create a new setup for the game.
