It's commonly understood that higher experience (up to and above 1,000) translates into better haggling, and lower experience translates into worse haggling (that's why it's easier for a 0 exp blue to get a port to megarob levels than a 5,000+ exp red).
"
I think he pulled some of his original testing models from traitors site.. But it's been verified since..

If you pick good ports, experience won't really matter. Also, I've never had any problems doing 3,300,000 exact. As Kavanaugh pointed out, you're best doing the division.

I suppose I am not understanding this correctly. I've only heard a bit about megarobbing, and I'm still pretty much a newbie.
The port I was trying to mega had 4,877,555 credits on hand. I divided this by .9 and came up with 5,419,505. I got busted. Is there something fundamental that I am missing? Thanks in advance for the clarification.

i would have just used a script to do it.. but if you multiply 4877555 by 1.1 rather than divide by .9 you get 5365310(.5)which is less. i have seen people say to do both on this topic, obviously you get two different numbers so some people are just talking ****. dividing by .9 and multiplying by 1.1 are very different mathmatically. (well, by .011111111etc..) but when dealing in millions, it adds up. check the cabal, check ck's site, and use a script to mega its much easier

Since this is an old thread and a few players have brought up some points about Swath I'de like to point out I have used a TWX script to megarob.
Later I found out by accident that swath will rob or megarob by ctrl +r ..
IF there is enough cash on port and its a MBBS game swath will automaticly megarob port.
But if your looking to megarob only then use the twx script that way if not enough cash on port it will stop and tell you how much more cash is needed to complete the MegaRob.

also just because experience is not a factor for the red to perform the magarob you still have the same odds at busting at the port 1 in 50. It could have been you just busted and you didn't really do anything wrong.

Just to confirm, this was a MBBS game? It must be MBBS for this to work. And there is still always a chance you will get busted. I assume that 1:25 I get busted at roughly.

BTW, alot of these are good questions. If you want to get more info, look into the Pro/Am gaming starting next month were newer players can play with experienced players, and be able to ask alot of these questions in game, and see the examples first hand (shameless plug, I know, I know...)
