wot r the best places to conect to for a newbie where there are verry little or no or those evil enimy things

Modem Master has a nice TW server, and lots of neat-o aliens for your blasting pleasure........

There are tons of links to games here, or on Micro's page or Big D's page. Visit the websites and see if they have a game description up. If the game says "Gold" or edited, you know it probably has at least one additional race of aliens. Look for games that say MBBS compatible - these should only have Ferrengi if anything.

When you find a board you think might fit, drop in and see if there are other descriptions. At the Game menu (where you hit T to enter) hit a * (that thing above the 8 to most of us) and it brings up the extended settings. Look for aliens in that list. It also tells you if things like ship delay and eprobe delay are on - lots of great game info. Next step, hit T and read the daily log. If you see lots of aliens, you probably don't want that game from your post. If you like what you see, create a character and play.

Many players enjoy having a variety of aliens to shoot at. Gives them something besides each other to deal with, and additional homeworlds to invade.

The Classic game and Newbie Heaven on Stardock Omega usually only have one race of aliens to deal with - Ferrengi - and these are pretty toned down so that newer players have a chance to learn the game.
