Is there any possibility that the price of registering TW Gold / TWGS would be going down anytime in the near future?

I understand that registrations are still coming in, even today... I was just curious if there were anyone who might be in the know that might have heard if prices of at least the current versions would go down anytime soon.
I want a TWGS (100 node... just in case) / GOLD registration for mainly just personal use... but $80 is pretty steep for that. Even $60 for the Lite version is pretty high. This is why I ask. I may bite the bullet and purchase it at $80, but just wanted to see if there was anything in the works before I decided, then come back and see I was had in terms of a price drop or something.

There are no plans to decrease the price.

If it is going to be for personal use then there really is no need for the 100 node is there???

And now with gas prices going up you can expect an increase! LOL
I didn't mind payiing for it, after all look at the games for playstation. $60 for a new game and you play it one month or so? And then you see the price drops to $30. I have payed a lot of cash for games my kids wanted, for all the game systems they had, PS1, PS2, Computer,so on and so on, and sooner or later they end up in the bottem of the drawer and are not played. I regged TW back when the Martins owned it, I dont think I ever got the same value from any computer/PS game any time anywhere. That was like 12 or 13 years ago. And still played to this day.
So your lucky it isn't $125 to reg all of these. $80 is a fair price.

I don't think it is much money at all. Bethel does bring up a good point that PS2 games are 60 bucks. A lot of it depends on what you want the server for. If it's "just" for personal use, there is no reason to get a 100 node system. If you think you might want to put the server up then yah you do want it. Either way, you'll get use out of it, and if you enjoy doing scripting, or trying out new tactics or wanting to better understand the game by seeing how it all works, then it's a good idea to get it and just enjoy it. My guess is 25% of regular tradewars players have there own personal server for grins and giggles.

I said 100 node just in case I ever decided to make it public.
I never said it wasn't worth the price, I was just asking if there was any chance the price might decrease in the near future. The answer to that question assists me in deciding how soon I would get it...
