Okay I'm attempting to figure out everything I just purchased TWGS lite GOLD, and I've been busy editing ships, aliens & planets like crazy so that I can start banging some games and watching how everything interacts.. I wanted to start creating some alien ranks and was prompted to get the TOOLS100.exe from the TWGS game itself, I went to the twgs/beta page and downloaded the file.
When i run the file It pops open an MS-DOS box very quickly and I can read that it says that it's "unpacking", yet it doesn't extract any files from the executable. What gives is there an error with the toolkit or should I look for it any another location, btw the other "Mirror sites" appear not to be functioning, can anyone help???
Thanks A million
R

Close the TWGS before trying to install the tools.

Hi Harley
When I try to open the TOOLS program I get a "not enough memory to run application try closing programs and try again" message. Running 98se with 512 mb RAM and have tried re-booting and shutting down all but explorer and systray yet still get that error. Any suggestions?

At the very bottom of the page where you download TWGS from.

I run on Windows 2000 ... a lot of DOS stuff doesn't seem to work. *LOL*

It states "C:\Windows\System32\Autoexec.nt The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows Applications. Choose 'Close' to terminate.
Do I need to open / setup this file in a certain directory?
