I am currently playing a unlimited turn game. I was mothing a alien planet and was podded once, went back to moth it again, and was SD'd on the second try, I didnt get podded and hit mines or haz, was just SD'd.

Now to my knowledge you can get podded twice in a game and still be alive, it's on the 3rd time you get SD with no pod.

BTW, this was on .56 if that makes a difference.

Nope, same ship was used both times and it does have a pod... this is the only thing in the logs about it

OutKast was blasted by a Quasar Cannon!
OutKast's ship was destroyed by a Quasar Cannon!
OutKast was blasted by a Quasar Cannon!
OutKast's ship was destroyed by a Quasar Cannon!

after that 2nd hit I was SD'd... Weird

Maybe max times blown up per day was set to 2 and not 3? Check and verify the settings on that.

Also, are you sure you didn't already get podded earlier that day for anything and you forgot about it.

Most likely you had been podded once before since the last extern you were alive for. What time does extern run on that system?

I've seen something similar on 2 servers and I never found out why.
I checked all the logs on pods and ships, etc... (wasn't that)
All i can think of, is if its like that bug that if you t-warp into the sector 1 away and then enter the enemy's sector and get blown up, it puts your pod at Terra. (i think thats a bug anyways) and the only way to fix that is to t-warp in, warp one sector away and come back and then enter the enemy's sector.
