Every so often I run across a port that won't let me trade. It says "Porting..." and then that's it; I'm back at the main prompt. I can get a report on the port from the Computer (C-R-[sector#]) but I just can't port and trade there.
I've seen 4 or 5 such ports in various games since I started playing a couple of weeks ago.
What's up with these? Should I be reporting them to the sysops? Sounds like something is corrupted or bugged...(?)
Thank you in advance for clearing up this mystery for me. =)

Yes by all means report it to the GameOp. They should be able to fix it.
Some people just blow up those type of ports if they have enough figs. Also fixes the problem.

It could be one of two things....
1) Game corrpution when ever there is a problem game corruption can be an issue
2) I believe it might have something to do with the Gold enabled bubbles...If the sysop has Gold bubbles enabled there is a known bug with these...By rebanging the game and getting rid of Gold enabled bubbles should solve the problem.....
Please correct me anybody if i am wrong.
Thanks Strider

The tunnels with gold bubbles can cause this problem. It is a game bang bug.
