the site: http://www.tradewars.com

Not sure what happened, or what the deal is, but it doesnt look like tradewars:dm will be hitting shelves near you anytime this millenium.

I was wondering why that didn't look anything like a tradewars type of game. Wonder why they axed it.

The game has not been axed, or become vaporware. When Realm Interactive finally got there publisher. The publisher didn't like the name TW: DM. So had Realm change it, and change some things with in the game. The biggest change I know of. Is that it's no longer a space game. It is now similar to EQ and Diablo mixed together. As I understand it, the game is still mostly like it was. When it was in private beta. As of right now the new version of the game Exarch. Is not in beta yet, and that there are many new things for it.
You can get more info @ http://www.exarchonline.com/

Pardon me for going off topic a little.
I checked out Exarch at http://www.exarchonline.com/ and it reminded me a lot of and old BBS game called Swords of Chaos. Does any one know if Swords of Chaos is still being played and where?

The person to ask would be Nazwes, he is the master of old BBS games. I'll send him an ICQ see if he knows anything about it.
I have been trying to find about an old BBS game I used to play called galactiwars, but noone seems to have heard of it, even Naz, though he's been looking for it.

Speaking of Old BBS games, there was one I used to play on a couple of local BBS's that was called "Modern Warfare" or something real close to it. It was played on like a grid of 10x25 or something and you upgraded your HQ and built up a military. That was 12-13 years ago, and now I can't find anything on it anymore. Have any one here heard of it?
