I got a reply from him last night. He says he's having some hardware difficulties and had to order a new part. He was hoping to have the new part by yesterday, but some problems in that have delayed him further. He told me he's expecting to be up and running again by early next week.

His e-mail address was not from eisonline.com, so I would assume he may be having problems accessing his e-mail on that account if you're having that much difficulty reaching him still.

Yes, I still have not heard from him. That is probably the problem then. Thanks for the info.

I still haven't heard from JP, but I'm sure since you all say he is a honest person, I'm not really worried. This is just to let people know that is he is busy and/or away at the moment, and its not just them not getting a response. This is in no way saying that he isn't going to give me what I payed for. Just that it hasn't happened yet.




Hope this helps you out. When we had our BBS, we had to upgrade our TradeWars and we were fortunate that JP e-mailed us right away. We caught him in a slow time, therefore he was able to get back to us quickly. However, I have heard he has been extremely busy lately. I don't know him personally, but he and the others with EIS have been there when we needed their help or a problem solved. He'll get to you.
Just gotta have a bit of patience sometimes. I know it's hard when we are trying to get a server running. He'll get to you..

Actually move this to the Smack Forum so this remains a serious thread about reasons for lack of getting the reg codes. Check most other threads and you will see this is a forum for other things than FLAMING!

I sucked in my pride and just let it go. I figure if JP wants me to stick up for him he'll email me or something. And it sorta was moved to the smack forum... my lost post anyways.
