Got lots of em. But two big ones.

1) The Ferrengi Overlord/Ferrengi Scorpion. When does it appear, does it matter if intl ferr is on/off, can you cap it, all that jazz

2) Shielded Planets. How many shields do you need on a planet to keep a planet scanner from seeing, and how much to keep photons from affecting it?

Thanks in advance

The planet scanner won't see the planet no matter how many shields are on it.

Ok let me take question 2 first .. scanners cant see shielded planets , but best to put 400 planet shields (4000 ship shields)
to keep photons from effecting cannons.
Planets are best kept at 32k shields ..that way your fuel has chance to be used up before your fighters have to react

And Question 1 .. nope the OverLord was part of original ferrengi (internal), and has sence been removed from game play.
The ship is still there if sysop chooses to put it up in external aliens list.
The original OL can only be captured if you had a dreadnaught to attack with.
The new one can be capped with any ship that can hold him and have the fighters to attack with.
JP said long ago , when AI is done ..OverLord will be available again.
We must wait and see

IT (the ship) will, HE (the overlord, with all the special abilities that came with him such as "disruption") will not REGARDLESS of settings... the overlord is gone in the latest version... he may be back in v4 when the gold AI scripting is up and running or something, but ain't around now...

A Ferrengi will be driving the Scorp, a Ferrengi with no more special abilities than any other Ferrengi. I believe there is only one in a standard game, and yes it is capturable.
