Take whatever the lower max align is, and divide it by 4. That's how much experience is lost. For example, if your redest red is at -45000 and your bluest blue is at 1600, the lowest high align is the blue at 1600. That means at extern, everyone will lose 400 experience. Make sense?

Kemper,

I think your calculations are almost correct, as the proper divider for the 1600 in your example would actually be the number of members on the corp.

I.E. if there were 3 corp members and the high align red was at -4500 and the high align blue was at +1600, then the correct calculation would be 1600 divided by 3, or 533 points of experience lost by each corp member. So if there were 5 corp members, the calculation would be 1600 divided by 5, or 320 experience points lost by each corp member.

It may have once worked that way, but I tested just now and my calculation was correct:

Trade Wars 2002 Trader Rankings : 04/16/14 11:15:51 AM

# Rank Alignment Corp Trader Name Ship Type
--- --------------------- -- ------------------------------ ------------------
1 6,555 1,600 1 Kemper3 Missile Frigate
2 1,465 11,785 ** Kl Merchant Cruiser
3 1 -4,500 1 Kemper2 Merchant Cruiser
4 0 33 ** Kempp Merchant Cruiser
5 0 33 1 Kemper9 Merchant Cruiser

For consorting with slime in your Corp your Experience went down by 400

Kempers way is right
even tho I dont like it .. I would like to think it's a formula for a calculation .. not a comparison then a formula from the results .. but he is right 1/4 of the exp of the "lower max align" quote:
1) The Ferrengi Overlord/Ferrengi Scorpion. When does it appear, does it matter if intl ferr is on/off, can you cap it, all that jazz

Gold Ferrengi must be enabled and you need to set the Ferrengi Scorpion ship to active in the Ship Editor. It should first be available to the Ferrengi around day 90 of the game if I remember correctly. It can be captured.

quote:
2) Shielded Planets. How many shields do you need on a planet to keep a planet scanner from seeing, and how much to keep photons from affecting it?

200 shields.
