Is this really such a good idea? I wouldn't be surprised if someone goes out and grabs the "registered to" name right off soem backwoods server, claims it is theirs and tries to get in.

You know it's funny that you quoted the instructions, and then still requested access incorrectly... hehe

In your example the registered owner would probably be surprized when we attempted to verify his access to the Sysop area, i am sure at that point we would know he didn't send the request. We could get real demanding and ask that they send in their codes, but why? We have all the information we need to verify an owner of an EIS product.

So what's the status on this forum? I submitted a request for access a few days ago. I like the idea of a sysops only area and am looking forward to using it.
Thanks

What did I do incorrectly?? I have no idea how to send you a private message on this system in case that's what you are laughing about. I could see no way of making the message private. If I did something else wrong I would love to know what.

On the main forum page at the top of the forumsa there is a Private Message feature, thats what i was looking for. It's no big deal I took your forum post here as your request, I just thought it was kinda funny. I just reset your account, you should have had full access from the time you started getting the emails from the forum, but you for sure should now, so try and log in and let me know.
