Hello, I am setting up a BBS and would like to know if anyone can tell me where I can find a Java Telnet Applet so people can login straight from a Webpage. Also anyone with knowledge on how I would go about setting up a Java Telnet Applet, could you please explain in Detail?? I used to run a dial-up years ago! I am using Synchronet BBs software! Thank you for your help!

Can take a look at ours. It's not the greatest, but users can log in via our web page.
http://www.outpost-4.net/tradewars and select Java Login.

I'd recommend looking at the Java telnet applet: http://www.javassh.org/ Both J-TWAT and Kokua (TW helpers) use their code for telnet and terminal emulation. And yes, it is free.
