I am sorry for posting mis-information in the past. I admit I most likely am wrong about .56 as well. I also want to apologize to Rick and Harley for my posts I made about EIS. Also to CK, Diddy and whomever else I offended.

I am learning, but it is a slow process. Things I thought I knew are turning out to be false or inaccurate. My illness makes it hard to concentrate or remember or comprehend things too. So sometimes I miss part of a post when I reply to it.

I am just now learning how macros work and have found a good teacher to teach me more about the game when I find time to do so. I have a training server he runs for me to teach me on. If I get better I will be on his corp eventually.

I know some of the basics of playing red or blue, and I am good at farming planets, PPT, SSM/SST, ptrading, gridding, and exploring. I need to work on the rest of them.

I just learned how to make Rexx scripts work with SWATH.

Yo man dont suck up to all these guys, just cus 2 or 3 of them gang up on you dont mean you have to make a PUBLIC APOLOGY to ALL.

Well it just so happens I was wrong in what I did and I am taking responsibility for my posts.

I am trying to learn and I learn from my mistakes.

I am not as good a player as you are, and I cannot take their pods, at least not yet. Maybe some day after I do more research and study more. I am just now learning macros in SWATH and bursting in TWX. I have a long way to go so far. There are many here such as you, or Grazhoppa, or the guy teaching me that can teach me to take their pods.

Best I can do is play a blue and planet farm, or play a red and run some red scripts to steal/rob some credits. So far I am a builder or money maker, not an attacker yet.

Attacking is all about being prepared to HIT MACROS or ....FIRE UP Scripts....

I specialize in this, using ZOC and now adding REV HELPER, I have several BUTTON SETS for different parts of game play. Some are nothing but attack macros for FED SPACE

Any ways get used to Fkeys and Buttons, if you use ZOC....

So far I have been attacking by hand. I can capture alien ships most of the time and the other times blow them up by mistake. In one LoTR game I was able to launch a Photon by hand at an enemy and actually hit them.

Yes I am learning Macros, what is it AY9999^M to attack? Or does your Macro launch a script that attacks? What if there is more than one ship in a sector, how does a Macro cover that?

That would have you attacking the first target in the sector with 9999 fighters. Tha macro doesnt launch a script unless you tell it specificly to launch one. To attack the second ship, considering its alien anyway, it would be ANY999^M. With players its different depending on what player number they are in t-edit. They will be targeted in the same order you would see them in t-edit. Since you cant see t-edit you need to pay attention to the order they enter the game or if your attacking only on-line players then hit the # key and you will target them in the same order as they appear. Just remember that empty ships, feds, and off-line players come before the online ones.

of course, using ay9999^M as an attack macro does nothing but distinguish you as a newb.

no, i'm just pointing out that newbies use ay999^M as macros, people who want a more effective macro don't. shrug. i just bein helpful.

This IS the smack talk forum, so I guess I wouldn't expect Diddy to actually be helpful HERE... at least, I hope you weren't REALLY trying to be helpful, cuz it wasn't at all; you told him no information that can help him. <Shrug> But again, consistent with forum, so... waaaaa! lmao.

well, it wasnt all THAT helpful, but if he really wanted to be helped by it, he would make three assumptions.

1. that i don't use ay9999^M as an attack macro.
2. there's a reason i don't use ay9999^M as an attack macro.
3. i must be using something different as an attack macro.

Didaskalos did help me with a better macro he gave me in ICQ, and showed me why that Macro does not always work. Keep in mind that I am just learning Macros for the first time and am now just finding the limitations of various Macros. I learn from my mistakes, so I won't use the ay9999^M macro again.
