Greetings!

I had a friend named Chris (no relation to the Sherrard person) who claims to have played Trade Wars during its early days. He had a very funny story to tell. He was a pretty good player in his time. He had a corporation of 3 members, including himself (don't remember if he was CEO, but he probably was). He stumbled onto a weird bug. He would put credits into the Galactic bank. However, whenever he withdrew all of it, his onboard credits would increase to reflect this but his balance in the Galactic bank did not change!!! So you can imagine that he was able to obtain many many fully loaded Interdictor Cruisers for his corporation. He later told his corporation about it. For weeks, this corporation was the only one that knew about the bug. They did fun stuff like posting 3000000-credit bounties on many traders they hated. Imagine these poor guys suddenly wondering why everyone is 'out to get me' all of a sudden LOLOLOLOLOL! However, one of these corporation members suddenly turned traitor in the end and proceeded to tell strangers about this interesting 'gold mine'. The game soon got out of hand, and one day the BBS Sysop shut down the game and posted message similar to 'The Trade Wars galaxy is corrupt and must be stopped.'

I am wondering which version of Trade Wars this was and perhaps which BBS. I'm sure it's earlier than 2.0.
