Last night I installed and setup Tradewars 2002 game server. I set it up for Telnet port 2002 since my BBS is using 23.

I can't find any documentation explaining what needs to be done to set it up in the BBS.

I use Synchronet ( latest version ). I know how to setup external apps in the config software. But I didn't know if there was something special that needs to be done to set TW2002GS up.

The TW2002 server is telnet://warriorscamp.bbs.us:2002

I am not sure how to setup synchronet to access it.


Any help is appreciated.

Assuming both your TWGS and your BBS are on the same computer, you have two easy ways of doing this:

1) If you are using rlogin instead of telnet, just set up a door with the command line "*rlogin localhost" exactly as I have it at telnet://twgs.org, without the quotes. I do it this way to force people to log in through the BBS (I also think it looks better than having it ask for a username and password a second time).

2) Since it sounds like you're using telnet on port 2002, you can also use "*telgate localhost:2002".
