My entire Trade Wars File Archive will be available for download from
http://www.thestardock.com - I finished transfering the 140 MB archive to EleqTrizi'T the other day.
I'm still adding more files - which will be transfered as soon as I have a chance to sort and catalog them. I've also written several utils for TW2002 V3, all of which should (fingers crossed) work with TWGS. Copies are in the archive.
Craig, the sysop of Chowdanet has written at least one util for TWGS, a copy of that is there as well. EleqTrizi't is threatening to write something.
I have several projects on the go - my problem is a lack of time to finish things. I have started on:
1) a program to turn off the autopilot and transwarp
2) Rebang - a program to produce unusual universes
3) TWGS Tool Kit - extra editing functions
4) PortFix - fixes ports messed up by Bigbang when universe had bubbles.
5) Expander for TWGS
6) Multi TWGS play option
7) String Editor

Nebulae Editor (Names in bulk)
9) Port Editor (Names in bulk)
Some of these - the Toolkit for example are fairly simple, I've already been at the data files with a hex editor and made 255 turn per sector ships, transwarp drives that cost 1,000,000,000 dollars. Easy stuff.
Other things like an Expander for the TWGS are more complex, tie into the TWGS at many points, and will take a lot of time.
And then of course there's my secret project, the program that rewrites the TWGS data files on the fly, CHANGING THE RULES AS YOU PLAY...
As I said - some of this is easy. Some of it is very time consuming, and I'm only human.
