Hi,
I cannot install TWGS 1.01.55 in WinXP. The program says that I don't have administrator privilages, but I am the administrator and I am logged as it. Even when in Safe Mode the program can't install.
The last version that I could install are 1.01.47.
Thanks for any help.

I have version 55 installed on XP pro. english version though.
are you installed as administrator or a user with administrator privledges?
I don't know that it would make a difference, but it may.
have you tried to change to limited, logging out then changing back to admin priv's?

I tried all of this, but no sucess. Maybe the creator of TWGS can help in this problem.
I tried do make a User with administrator privledges called ADMINISTRATOR, cause in portuguese this user is ADMINISTRADOR, but nothing.
I wonder if other users with others version (languages) of WinXP have the same problem.

Odd. I would almost lean towards a problem with windows allowing it to write to disk. I am not however ruling out a conflict with twgs.
I am not sure that I have ever heard of anyone using a language other than English and using twgs.....hehe

Some programs (Not sure about TW) will not install in WinXP when there are multiple users allowed, it tries to detect a network server when it truly doesn't exist. One program in particular I had to delete out all the user accounts and have it log in without any option of choosing a user in order to finally get the program to install and run properly and then reset up the user accounts and everything has worked fine since.
Let me know how it turns out.

Hi!
I have the same problem with my German WinXp Version, too!
I talked to the Programmer of TWGS and he said that WinXP in other languages was using different Name for Usergroups or so. I told me he will fix it in the next Version! I´m still waiting for the next version! Hope a new version will be released soon, at the moment it seems the developement has stalled ;(((
Greetings
Thomas
