 TEDIT ERROR HELP

When I run tedit, it says the following:

Error in Non-data Data File. Resetting all Gold Aliens.

No one can log into the game. I've deleted my one gold alien race, and reset the two default ones but no luck. Same error.

What can I do to salvage this game and not have this happen again?
