THE POINTS SYSTEM

In the event the game goes a full 30 days this points system will decide the winner..

15 points for each Kill(only SD's count as kills) Corp 2=300 Points. Corp 3=135 Points
25 points for the corp with the largest grid.       Corp 2=75%
25 points for the corp with the most fighters.    Corp 2=58%
25 points for the corp with the most colonists.   Corp 2=9Bill
15 bonus points for each captured planet          Corp 2=90 Corp 3=15


Point Totals= Corp 2=465   Corp 3=150

Good game c2. You played skillfully and with honor.

Thank you to SK for hosting and working through the problems early on.

It was a fun game. I will always remember Deign lighting up John Smith and then snatching their #54 H while they frantically tried unsuccessfully to get back into the sector. I played as Prince "Handsy" Hans.

Good game C2! It was fun, but brutal! Believe me, we tried to penetrate your grid several times. John Smith was just too fast!

Sorry I did not have more key time, but it was fun watching. Due to COVID-19 Dell is letting all call desk workers work from home in OKC (and probably elsewhere), so ironically I now have the ability to connect to TradeWars and Discord while "at work", but just a bit too late for this tournament. Now if I can just get people to stop calling me about their computer problems.

Ahh I had you guys around the wrong way. I'm so used to Cruncher shooting me with Photons when she's teamed up with Xanos that I assumed she was Scrat.

Good game all, was fun as always. Well done to everyone on our team, everyone played their part. Some people had limited key time due to life but that's fine. Being available to practice, keep bot online etc, is just as helpful.

I was asdsad or whatever I smashed in when we had the start up chaos :)

Edit with or without product is going to go a stalemate after 2-3 weeks if someone doesn't win it in the first week. So I think discussion on that is needed or just shorten the game.

As for zero delays - that really made it impossible to grid and aided the stalemate. You guys could have pdropped me so many times, Scrat was hitting me with a photon before I hit the fig regularly, that pretty much means gridding over lol.

Rider: Apologies for the name calling in the previous thread. As mentioned I was trying to be helpful and felt you were coming in attacking. I reacted poorly.

Xanos ping was about ~75ms, Cruncher was ~50ms, and Mine was <10ms. Deign had a near zero ping, but does not have Kazoo. I am not sure what Prstone and Bud's pings were. With delays off the lowest ping is always the best grid defender.

I was laughing so hard whenever MD referred to Olaf as Micro. :lol:

Yes, Xanos did some tweeting to our Kazoo script to help avoid what happened in the Christmas tourney when his team had planets capped.

We tried multiple times to gain more grid and you guys effectively shut us out. Who was John Smith and what was his ping?

Definitely don't want to see another tournament set at 0 latency. Maybe the last week take death delay off? Stalemates are boring, having to rely on a points system isn't exciting.

But, you guys did play well, and capping C4 paid off for you in the end! Good Job!
