Greetings Programs... MicroBlaster network is proud to present HHT 2018. The Haunted Halloween Tournament is dedicated to the memory of Space Ghost, and all the other fallen Traders! This is an open tournament with no sign up required. You can play solo, BYOC, or form/join a corp after game starts. Tournament "Days to Enter" will be set to 3, so no one will be able to enter the game after that time. Hosted by:The Sprawl v1.03/3.13 Server: thesprawl.ca Port: 2002 • Unlimited Time • 1200 Turns • 10000 Sectors • 6 Trader Corps • 1 Day Turn Bank • No Delays • No Truce Game P - Practice Game - Open Now Game H - Tournament - Opens October 26th at 9 PM Eastern Time Tournament mode is off in the practice game, but on in the tournament game, with a death limit of 25 and death delay will be ON. Game duration will be 45 days. At 9 PM Eastern Time of day 45 on the "V" screen, the game will be considered stale if there is no clear dominating team or player. Star Killer, Xanos, an I have prepared a Brand NEW!!! ghoulish edit for this year's HHT! We have incorporated some settings Space Ghost used in 2001: 1. Stardock's Warp outs will BE sectors 2 ,3 ,4 ,5, 7, and 9. 2. Alpha will have a Warp out to sector 6. 3. Rylos will have a Warp out to sector 8. 4. SOL Does not have any warps to 3 - 10, and has random warps instead. However!!!!!!! You will NOT be able to warp TO Stardock, Alpha or Rylos thru these One-Way jumps. Warps out of SOL are also One-Way! Also the map will have 13 Black holes. There are no warps out of Black Holes so be careful!

The Rules: 1. Duplicate Accounts Duplicate accounts will not be tolerated. Any corporation using dupes is in violation of this rule, even if the dupe is not a member of the corp. Duplicate accounts are primarily determined by IP address. One player per IP address. I will be using other methods to detect dupes, including proxy detection. Proxy's are permitted. Be Warned if your IP matches another players IP you WILL be banned. So Be careful what kind of service you use. At no time is a player allowed to log into another players account. You may not use Telnet Proxy, Remote Desktop, or any other means to remotely control another players account. 2. Player Conduct Be Respectfull on FED/PM/SS. While I don't expect you to be priests & nuns I do expect you to be grown ups. Anything I deem offensive will result in a censor/warning and then A ban(Common Sense should tell you what not to say). 3. Buyouts of any kind are not permitted. This includes both Ships and Planets. 4. No Bug use of any kind. If you are not sure then ask. End of Game This is a last corporation standing tournament with a maximum death limit of 25 deaths per player. If there is no clear winner at 9PM ET on day 45 on the "V" settings screen, a stalemate will be declared and the winner will be decided by a point system as follows: a. 25 points for the player or corp with the largest grid. b. 25 points for the player or corp with the most fighters. c. 25 points for the player or corp with the most colonist. d. 15 bonus points for each shielded planet that was created by another corporation, and owned by your corporation at the end of the game. Logs must show a planet capture. In the invent of a tie on points the tied corp/player with the most Tri-Con Jackpots wins(Just Kidding Bounty Hunter In the invent of a tie on points the tied corp/player with the most kills wins. |

15 death limit in a v1 game? When's the smack talk forum up, I need to burrrnnn someone who loves stalemates or boring games. Or have you turned planet ore production off this game or max ore on planets 49k? Enjoy, perhaps whoever the duper is will win this one as they'll have lives to spare for mothing |

Vid Well to be honest I didn't look at it from the point of view of ship killing the others. Most people prefer to build planets, protect them and invade others. At which point it becomes very difficult when pods count as deaths. Hence the aggressor is at a disadvantage. |

We always seam to talk about this every tourney... so ill say what I said last time... 6 player corps times 15 deaths=90 deaths plus in v1 the last pod doesn't count as A death must be SD'd to be kicked out of the game so there are more... Plus as I will set up a points system.... just in case the game goes the distance as I always do. sk |

We almost run out and we spent a week or two basically chasing ONE planet. If we hadn't found you guys early and you had more resources, well, we'd have had no chance. This game is 45 days with 15 deaths. You can be knocked out after 5 days let alone 45 (a special kind of stupid to do it that quick lol). And if you think any muppet is going to moth on 15 deaths.. good luck to them. As you know I'm not a fan of points win either unless they are advertised PRE TOURNAMENT. If you are going to design a points system, advertise it, and lets play for points. Least this gives us a strategy to go for. The ridiculousness of having no idea how to win.... Given its got low lives, then make it on ship to ship kills, or lives left. Given taking planet out is going to be near impossible late game. Anyway, thanks to you guys for hosting, editing and putting it together. I say all this out of love of the game!! Well the way i remember the last game you found of early chased us around to a bit, took most of our grid, then you quit playing for like 10 days, which aloud us to rebuild some what then you came back and killed us. Had you pushed it, you could have killed us quick. So i guess im not following what you are saying here? I will give some thought to pre-posting the points system. but if I do that i think it would have to be a simple one. IE 5 points for every kill.... something like that. If i do a more complex one like ive done in the past for ICE then im worried corps will pick the biggest point getters on the list and turtle up and go for those. sk |

Updated Post Bang script, to eliminate random amonlies. This version should only create 13 Black Holes, and no orphans. |

Updated the 2nd post to show the rules and points system. After much thought I've decided to up the death limit amount to 25. That should be more then enough for anyone to win. sk |
