I know this was discussed a while ago, but I can't seem to locate it in here. Would it be difficult to give the option like an Observer account has that when a player logs in they run a warp data cim and instantly have the map? I would not want it for all games but it would be handy to have the option instead of sitting for hours watching it grind away. I hope this is clear as I am running on 2 hours of sleep. |

Are you saying to give the ability that the observer has to all players in a game? |

Nope just the ability to get the map right at the beginning of the game without sitting for hours running a ZTM. If you log in as an observer you can run a CIM and instantly have the map, right now for most of my games I provide a ZTM for them. Why not just let them have it and save the sysop the extra step. |

Perhaps on a toggle so the sysop can say yes or no to then running an instant CIM at the beginning (or end if you're so inclined) of a game. (Just to help clear T0ymans mud) |

Yeah, I agree with this. I've always felt that ztm is a horribly inefficient way to get this info. If players (some players) are going to get it anyway, why not just give it to them with the minimum amount of server load? |

Yeah Vid did this for me once on the beta server in the sandbox game. |

I am only requesting a toggle not a game change so everyone is forced to the same setting. We (Sysops) run all different styles of games and would just like an option to help players get a map without grinding away for several hours. |

I would also like to suggest an option to make the map available after x hours. |

This is actually something that can easily be done through Botlink. Botlink knows all of the map details, and will have the ability to send information to players on request. So along with so many of the features being requested in here, I'd like to see them done as extensions rather than continuing to pile on optional features. |

Didn't you see the command CLONE [NEGA] User AS Alias It's working ok in initial testing. In fact, I'm taking a shower as I write this. |
