Post subject:  Message prioritization

If you're gridding heavily, you would love to see this one. A way to have certain types of messages be given higher priority by the Galactic M.A.I.L service. It's especially frustrating as a blind person for me to go through dozens of fighter sector entry and attack reports just to see if there's anything important in there. Here's how I'd see the priorities working, from top to bottom. There might be some user-configurability here to.

1.: Planets successfully invaded by an enemy. Better decide whether to go back and try to take it back or cut your losses.

2. Planets attacked by an enemy but not successfully invaded. If it's L4 or above, better find a new hiding place and Pwarp it away! If not, strengthen your defenses and hope for the best.

3. Fighter reports from sectors containing other stuff. Where 'other stuff' means the ship you're in, unmanned ships you own, planets you own, etc.

4. Messages sent by other humans, etc.

5. Fighter reports from sectors where the fighters are the only thing of yours that's in that sector.

Another feature would be that people might be able to maybe pay a little? to have their messages to you sent at a higher priority level if it's really urgent.

The way I'd see this happening, each level of priority would be presented on one or several screens, whatever it takes, and then you have to actually do something to start the display of lesser priority messages so the more important ones don't scroll off. Another option to help cut down on hundreds of messages would be to auto-delete lowest priority messages optionally, those from fighters in random sectors with nothing else there.

I suppose there could be a setting in personal settings to determine if messages are shown chronologically or by priority.

I don't think this would be difficult to accomplish. The only tricky part would be dealing with a change in mail record structure, requiring either an update of the mail records or a purge of mail during installation of the update.
