This was a lot harder than I thought it would be, but I added the ability for aliens to have an attack delay. Before, they'd immediately attack whenever you enter a sector or they enter your sector, and there was very little time to react. Now the aliens will use the appropriate move/attack delay time for the ship type. You'll get a "powering up weapons" message, then after the delay, you'll actually get hit. I also noticed that aliens don't appear to attack unoccupied ships they might come across. I can fix that as well. This is up on the beta site for testing. |
