I just posted a link to TWGSv2.01 with fixes for most of the bugs reported so far. I'll follow up with a list of bug fixes soon, but I don't have time right now.

So if TWGS is already installed, I can just execute the new file? Or are there special upgrade/patch instructions? :D

No patch option yet. Just install over the existing installation. I'm going to look into doing patches for these minor updates. But I just needed to get this posted.

I am running in Windows 7 64-bit.

A dialog comes up saying TWGS can be run only on an administrator account. I had to right-click on it, go to properties, go to the compatibility tab, and make sure the "run this program as an administrator" checkbox is enabled. I didn't have to do this the first time (I think).

Also, I'm a n00b. I didn't back anything up and it erased my games when I installed the new file. :( Oops on me. I'm a proud new admin but green.

I did make a backup, just in case, but it didn't delete any of my game data going from 2.00 to 2.01

First off , deurbroucq .. good advice .. backup before re-install
its a good practice I too don't always do.
But did this time cause it was mentioned.

No problems or missing stuff here.

Next , THANK YOU J.P. ... the small scroll screen on TWGS
is clear and readable now.

and wouldn't you know it .. I open game Z logs and TWGS halts.
what to do ?

Ok , I tried both logs again .. and half way back on game logs server shut down/halted ... I can't keep doing this to my players.
So for now I've done a bit of testing , email me what you want sent again.
I hope to help get this resolved.

I need to get the log file that's causing the crash. Makes no sense that the same log file that's crashing your server wouldn't do anything for me.

Vid, I can't imagine anything causing this log problem but low memory. The file you sent me earlier was very small, so that seemed to indicate that it isn't a memory issue. But I just realized that the log viewer opens all of your log files at once, so the file you're looking at when it crashes isn't necessarily the one that's causing the crash, assuming it is an "out of memory" error. Would you say that you have very large log files?

I've been putting off writing a system that can view massive files without loading them into memory, but if that's what's happening, I'm going to have to do it. Obviously in theory this is a bad situation, because these files can grow very large and the viewer loads the file into memory for viewing. A short-term improvement would be to close each file after you view the next one (I don't do that now to speed things up), but there will still be single files large enough to run a system out of memory, if the system has limited memory available.

BTW, until we can work this out, the best work-around is to view the logs with some other app. Not as convenient, I know, but you won't bother your players.
