has this happened to you while pwarp photoning in a beta game? enemy hits fig, pwarp photon engaged, fires adjacent, misses. enemy warps into sector with planet, lands on planet, kills shields, atmosphere cannon fires, pods enemy, enemy pod lands and is transported back to home sector BEFORE atmosphere cannon destroys pod. It seemed to me to be a timing error in the game. It is a beta game with 30k sectors. This was i believe an interesting strategy implemented by a good player... but don't see how it should have happened that way. cc bee... out |

Yes, that's a bug that we had during HHT. It should now be fixed. Where are you playing this at? If not classic, then they need to upgrade to the newest beta. If classic, then it needs reported to JP as still present. If not classic, this is why people running betas should be signed up for the beta w/ JP to ensure they receive the updates. |

i play so many games, at times i attribute an occurance to the wrong game. This is such a time. It was not a beta game. It was in Ultimate O (pirates game) but i guess that does not change the bug use, and that is what i had to come to understand. thanks Sing, for helping out as usual. cc bee... out |

When I ran into it, it wasn't done intentionally. It was just hitting the "l" key to land, and finding that I didn't pod out until I got passed the pause. There's a post on it in the beta forum somewhere. |

That is because people were handing out the link to unapproved testers If they were, the joke was on the sysops, because there isn't a version that is even close to stable at this point. Everyone is reverting back to the old software, including me after the ICE tourney is in progress. The only one I passed out the beta software to was Rev, and that was solely because the ice tourney was supposed to be held there and it would have been nice if there was a stable version, but as you can see that didn't work out. |

Yes I am on the official list for the beta, unless for some reason I was removed. T0yman wrote: True but JP moved the location where he was upping the beta, have not had one in quite a while. Helix wrote: That is because people were handing out the link to unapproved testers Don't know about any handing out of the link, this is the first I have heard of it. The version I am running does not appear to be having any issues, so not "everyone" is reverting. |

Yea I posted in another area, and if there are issues none are being reported and that's why I used the word "appear". |
