I just realized that the game uses the term "Photon Torpedo" in some places and "Photon Missile" in others. The proper term is "Photon Missile". It's not a major issue, but I'd like to change Torpedo to Missile so it's consistent. Of course, any cosmetic change has the chance of breaking scripts and helpers. If there's a chance this would inconvenience anyone, I won't do it. Let me know if it's an issue. |

Text with Torpedo: "The Feds do not permit Photon Torpedos to be launched into FedSpace" "[PLAYER] just launched a Photon Torpedo!" All other references to Photons are "Photon Missile". |

Huh.. I've always refered to them as ptorps, guess I never saw photon missile reference or didn't notice. |

I only have a few scripts that trigger off that line and it would not take much work to correct, the ones that might have issue are people that can't script or only have the compiled version. I would prefer it to be consistent. |

Ok, that's fine. I don't like it because a Photon Torpedo is a specific thing from Star Trek, and the Photon Missile is not supposed to be a Photon Torpedo. It's not like the Genesis Torpedo where the weapon is basically the same as the device of the same name from Star Trek. But it's a minor concern. I won't touch it. Unless lawyers tell me I have to... |
