BigD posted some definitions of structure in another post:

Black Hole = A sector or cluster of sectors that have a one way leading in but no sectors leading out.

Orphaned Sector(s) = A sector or cluster of sectors that have no path into them and one or more paths out.

Worm Hole = A sector or cluster of sectors that have a one way sector leading in and a one way sector leading out and no other points of entry or exit.

Parallel Universe = A sector or cluster of sectors that no entry point and no exit point.

Note: You can not access Orphaned Sector(s) or a Parallel Universe


I wanted to point out that a Black Hole, Orphaned Sector and Parallel Universe should never happen in a straight bigbang. If you see these, it should only be the result of a map edit by the gameop. If anyone sees one of these in a bigbang, please email me the TWA file so I can reproduce the bang and figure out what caused it.

A Worm Hole can happen in a normal bigbang.

This is correct. The issue was blown out of perspective by several people. Adding in a Conspiarcy theory and parnoia followed by redirection and Clarifications. There really NEVER were any orphaned Sectors. The above statement should read," were never actually seen."
