I suggest:

- we should be able to twarp to any sector that does not have an enemy tag (fig, mine, ship, planet).
any sector other than fed space, which is a blue comish advantage.
regardless of a port or not.
If we were skipping around in a space ship and wanted to go to DS9, we would twarp right into the sector. So, as long as an enemy has not put their mark of ownership on a sector, we should be able to twarp straight there, not blind twarp to empty sector then express to destination.

it would save a lot of time locating the enemy - if you got a lock, no need to explore that sector.

Yeh, that'd be great. Zero cost probing.

right on Pro.
Darn your quick.
that never crossed my mind. I tend to see the big picture in good detail.
You got my back, with the details
tada!
thanks.

That would seem too much of a benefit to hunters.
lol... i think we would end up gridding with limpets instead of figs... hoping for a blind twarp / crash and burn
good one, buddy
dang not sure how to get around that one.

cc bee... out

As long as the sector is completely empty you can twarp blind. Not for the faint of heart, but a real turn saver in a low turn game.

e-probe first, then blind warp. You WILL fuse if there's a limpet in the sector, or if anyone moves into the sector.

I don't think this happens much anymore, but we used to take the chance and blind warp if we knew there were sectors behind ferrengal. But, I'm pretty sure most savy sysops examine the universe and make sure that does not happen before they open the games now.

i probed the backdoor and Darn if it was'nt empty... grab'd my torp and off i go to nail SG.
SLAM!!! what the hell was that! i am trippin i a pod.
SG never knew that he got me that day, the logs only say cc bee "screwed the pooch"
