 Minor TWGS player menu changes
I did a fresh design pass for the TWGS remote admin menu, and because the admin and player menus are handled in the same code, there are a few minor changes to the player menu. I tried to avoid any substantial changes, but I see that Helix's script is hanging at the TWGS menu so I might have caused some script problems. Let me know what I messed up.
I just took a closer look and the only two changes I see are shortening "TradeWars Game Server" to "TWGS", and I inadvertently stopped echoing the game letter back when you select a game. I'm fixing the echo problem. Hopefully that's all it is.

Re: Minor TWGS player menu changes
AH-HA! The text that was being keyed upon for mombot was 'Game Server' Now 'TWGS' has replaced 'TradeWars Game Server' on the beta The existing TWGS uses 'Trade Wars 2002 Game Server' Ideally we just want something to key on that is on both the final release and the older servers. H

Add a second text trigger.

Re: Minor TWGS player menu changes
Since 90% or more login type scripts have been made to be forward and backward compatible , why not keep to this.
Like in the case of the login "Game Server" there would be no need for change .. if left in place. It would not matter if it said TWGS Game Server or Trade Wars .. or Tradewars as long as "Game Server" were on that same line.
just a thought

Re: Minor TWGS player menu changes
Just tested my relog (proRelog2.1) on it and I don't see any issues. Logs in fine.
[Edit] The version I use has had so many changes that the code is really ugly and I know there are a couple of bugs left in it, but I will post the .ts in the scripts forum. [/Edit]

Re: Minor TWGS player menu changes
Just to be safe, I went to two lines (filling unused space anyway) that says "TradeWars Game Server", then below it, "TWGS v2.00" showing version. Hopefully that smooths things out.

Re: Minor TWGS player menu changes
I didn't even realize I'd made such major changes to those lines. Well, I really would like to have the freedom to change things like how I reference EIS and TWGS, how I note copyright, and what website or other info I present. This is always a big issue with scripts and even helpers. There are other things I'd like to change but I can't without breaking legacy support :(

Yup, Sing.
And, Helix, I did change the line. But I'll do further tests and see what else is the problem and I'll get back to you.
