I see the point of view of both parties. It will be an option, so it's not something that will be forced on anyone. Will it be an option that will be used? Probably not. As I explained to Cruncher, it will not only break most offensive scripts, but it will also break many scripts that are used to replace repetitive tasks. It will also break many existing helpers, and will require extensive changes to repair them. As Sing says, it will benefit the scripters in the long run.
