Prom, it's time to let it go. I enjoyed the sparring, but it's getting old.

I see the point of view of both parties. It will be an option, so it's not something that will be forced on anyone. Will it be an option that will be used? Probably not. As I explained to Cruncher, it will not only break most offensive scripts, but it will also break many scripts that are used to replace repetitive tasks. It will also break many existing helpers, and will require extensive changes to repair them. As Sing says, it will benefit the scripters in the long run.
Lastly, it's nice to be posting in a forum where I won't be warned about posting my opinion and my posts probably won't be deleted. Maybe I'll designate this forum MY open discussion forum. :P

Over the years there have been many changes that forced players to adjust. I don't see a problem with that, as long as it's optional. There may be a group who prefers a less script-friendly mode. That it breaks current helpers and scripts would, according to some, be a good thing. And I have to wonder why scripters would bother to rewrite all their scripts to play in a mode that's not very popular? Perhaps this mode would be a sanctuary for those who don't care for the more "popular" game modes.
