Post subject:  Double Extern
I have my server setup to run extern while my router is rebooting at 3 am. The server closes at 2:55 am then reopens at 3:10 am. I just set this up.

I am trying to explain this:

It seems to create the report when extern runs, then creates another report when the server comes back online. I do not know if it's an issue or just how the server works.

That is unusual. I will try to reproduce that here, and if I can't, I'll look at your server. It seems like Extern would be running twice to show in the logs like that.

Could it have re-booted before extern finished?

It shouldn't matter. Extern should only run once per day. Even if it failed, it would only be rescheduled to run the next day. So something is odd.

Been a while scine I've been in here....

Looks like a normal log for 2 maintenance's running. TW should close the current log and add a new one if the same date maintenance runs. I use to set the odd HVS TW game that way on the swamp bbs. Believe me you could do it 2x and have log created like that since the old Martech versions. No problems with twgs running 2x maintenace. I tested that about a year ago in the beta's of TWGS v2 no problems other than the Aliens and Ferrengi beating up users and the port regen 2x :mrgreen:
