I just had a light bulb go on, I probably have all messages silenced, and was likely killed in a manner that you are only notified about via the mail system, as opposed to the user interface.

I got #SD#'d with really no message or explanation. Notice the end. Is this normal? I've never seen this happen before. This thread is a tad stale but I'm bumping it. The kill was indeed a regular old, garden variety I got attacked and died kill. I'm pretty confident it was legit, or at least if I found out there was some kind of cheating going on I'd be surprised. But I don't think so. It happened on Vid's World, WWII. Silenced messages I don't think should cause your attacker to be invisible. I think there is a bug here and I can't say how to reproduce it. |

If your messages are silent you won't recieve any notice of something jumping in and out or attacking you... |

Really? Silenced messages causes you to not see when another trader enters the sector and powers up weapons? I didn't know that... Learned something new today. |
