I thought I could do this, and it turns out I can. I've been able to edit a colt (ship #28) in the Sandbox game using Tedit and give it both a transwarp and a holoscanner even though it's not supposed to be able to have either of these things. Is this a bug or an undocumented feature? Strangely, I can't give it any photons. I even changed that ship's name to indicate the buggy nature of the thing! |

In Tedit you can change ship to have almost anything. The reason it might not have photons is because in game photon is set to off or 0 seconds. |
