When attacking an unmanned ship, often there is no message when you destroy it. I think this also happens sometimes when you cap it, but I'm not sure. Some of the text is blinking and it was off when I took this screenshot, so you can't see the message "there is nothing here to attack". But that's the only indication that the ship was destroyed. Well, that and the 1% navhaz. I'm not sure what version this is. Whatever Cruncher's running.

If you are using a macro that contains spaces or using a Swath macro with express mode checked then the display will be aborted and you may not see all the messages. |

I wonder if Scrat is onto something. I've been using SWATH's built-in ship capture. I don't know if it aborts the display. |

Could your CN be set to any key instead of space? |
