Gold Alien vs Planet Defense Bonus Bug
One thing that I've noticed is that ships with a planetary defense bonus get way more of a bonus against gold alien attacks than the normal x4 bonus. Below is a screen cap showing an attack by a gold alien where I am in an identical ship to the alien and I'm getting a x36 bonus. The alien attacks with 6670 figs and does only 183 points of damage. Both ships have 4:1 offensive and defensive odds:
