Not a bug with TWGS i dont think.
Maybe a bug in TWX/Zoc, dunno.

I've had this problem a few times in the past and still don't kno how to overcome it.
I'm not getting the "Deployed Fighters in sector...." when someone enters a fig'd sector.
All i get is....
Dead Man Trading destroyed 1 of your fighters in sector 1234
Dead Man Trading destroyed 1 of your fighters in sector 5678
Dead Man Trading destroyed 1 of your fighters in sector 9123
Dead Man Trading destroyed 1 of your fighters in sector 4567 etc....
I get everything else ok, mine hits, ss comms etc....

Not CN settings.
Ive deleted bot file and twx game file.
Still the same.

CN settings...
(1) ANSI graphics - On
(2) Animation display - Off
(3) Page on messages - Off
(4) Sub-space radio channel - 0
(5) Federation comm-link - On
(6) Receive private hails - No
(7) Silence ALL messages - No
(8) Change Password
(9) Abort display on keys - SPACE
(A) Message Display Mode - Compact
(B) Screen Pauses - No
(C) Online Auto Flee - Off

Frustrated. And losing grid fast!! :)
Any1 got a solution??
Cheers.

Now changed my CN settings to....
(1) ANSI graphics - On
(2) Animation display - Off
(3) Page on messages - Off
(4) Sub-space radio channel - 0
(5) Federation comm-link - On
(6) Receive private hails - Yes <--------- Would that make a difference??
(7) Silence ALL messages - No
(8) Change Password
(9) Abort display on keys - SPACE
(A) Message Display Mode - Compact
(B) Screen Pauses - No
(C) Online Auto Flee - Off

I used M()M's CN command then changed 6 manually.
Other than that... im at a loss.
[Edit] Never a good idea to post ya SS channel!! [/Edit]

I've seen this in a game a few times and it seemed to require a few disconnects from the server to get it to reset. It acted like a flag was set in the TWGS and couldn't release for messages. In one game, it affected our entire corp at one point. No fedcoms and no deployed figs from either players or aliens. Toggle the CN7 from no to yes and back to no before trying the disconnects.

Ive experienced the something similar as Prom.

One corp member would be able to hear me on subspace but the other would not.
This had happened a few time with different variables.

Sometime it may be fed.
Sometimes it may be everything, including alien hits.

Usually I just reboot Twx and it seems to work.
Once, I believe, everyone on corp had to log off/reboot to get things straight again.

I've had that happen too. It's a desynch bug in twgs. Toggle everything in your CN, log off, log back in, then re-toggle and check everything back in your CN again. Seems to work about 90% of the time.

LOL, yeah its the CN6 you showed. I've had games where was off and dont get fig hit messages. It will work if private hails are on. Dont seem right but it does affect your fig messages for sure! It also turns off your alien fig hits. This has happened to me alot. I look cn6 is always off due to some script fubar. Turn it back on and no problem. In fact i just tested this to be sure in game and its definitely your cn6 (its not just private hails) Perhaps this is considered a bug. TV

Yes. The problem occurs sometimes, but not all the time when you have private hails set to OFF. I'm pretty sure that is a bug that needs some attention.

This isn't a bug, Turning off private hails stops you from receiving fig hits, as well as several other game messages, I often turn it off in games with large numbers of aliens (Like the Borgan edit), until someone I actually want to kill destroys a fig then I turn it on, but use an attack script that ignores the aliens... Once the intruder is SD I turn it back off again....

A fig hit is not a private hail. So turning off private hails shouldn't effect anything but private hails. So I do consider it a bug.

We have encountered the issue with all messages at the default receive settings. Typically you are just receiving messages normally, and with no setting changes, everything goes away except maybe private hails.
