The reason behind the incompatabilities with browsers other than IE. Is caused by the javascript being used to create the drop down menu. Rick had decided to use the "Ultimate Drop Down Menu", aka UDM, for the drop down menu system. The version of UDM current being used is v3.6.1. While the last version for the v3 series is v3.8.5. While the current version of UDM is v4.302. I can understand that Rick may not want to deal with recoding for the newest version. But, the distro for v4.302 also includes v3.8.5 for those that may want it. If he would just d/l the latest version, and replace his current v3 javascript files with the latest v3 javascript files. That should take care of the majority of the browser incompatabilities. Hell, I'll email it to him if he wants. I doubt that he would take the 3 minutes, that is needed, to replace the files. |
