Rick, Thanks for fixing that link. One suggestion, you should program the forum to keep track of the last_updated_time when a user updates their age. Once a month a process should run. The logic should be...

If a user has not updated their age in over 1 year, increment their age by 1 and update the last_updated_time by 1 year. This way, the forum's users will "age" properly. You should probably give the option for users to turn it off also and notify users who have aged via private forum message.

I am a Space Pirate from 4096 AD, and I take Anagathics to halt aging so I do not suffer from old age. :) I took a lifetime supply with me before I lit up the old Time-Jump drive on my Pirate Corsair. ;)

I also have a friend who is a vampire, he doesn't seem to age either. :)

Also there is Dick Clark, who also apparently does not age either. :)

This was a good idea, and since I was in the code trying to fix some other stuff i added this functionality, although I did it very quickly so the interface isn’t very intuitive so to add your birth date (and thus have the forum update your age automatically):

Go to edit your profile
click on the little calendar next to Birth date
Enter a Month and Year
Click GO
Click on the Day (your birthday) in the calendar
The pop-up will disappear, click the SUBMIT button

For those embers who are “Age Sensitive”, I also added a clear DOB function which simply doesn’t display the age in your profile. To do this:

Go to edit your profile
Click on the little calendar next to Birth date
Click on CLEAR DOB
The pop-up will disappear, click the SUBMIT button

Now members have the option to tell their age, lie about their age or just not divulge their age, just like a singles bar.
