Wow! My favorite playtester finally got his computer working and is helping me out, again! So THIS TIME it's going to be PERFECT! Lol! Anyway, I noticed a SERIOUS oversight with my gold aliens that allowed them to become incredibly dangerous after a few sequential months of actually running (instead of just setting the age of the game for a quick test run.) Yeah, assigning my Gold Alien Traders to ONLY Imperial Starships really makes it easy for them to deploy HUGE amounts of OFFENSIVE (!?) sector fighters!! This means you hit a sector with 50K offensive figs, and then run into 38K offensive figs in the NEXT sector! Yikes! So, ok, my playtester (and I'm sure my players) probably didn't think it was as funny as I did, but I already have plans to bring that danger down to an acceptable nuisance. Now that I'm aware of the despicable things they do (OFFENSIVE? come on! that should be a setting: off, def, toll, random.) But I already know how to (mostly) neutralize it. So here it is! For now, I'm just going to re-bang existing games with some minor (or major) modifcations. In fact, I'll do it tonight! Lol! A) More Stock Than Stock 1K (no change) B) Revenge of the Newbies! (BANG!) C) The Nucleus BBS (OVERHAUL! Oh, and BANG!) D) More Stock Than Stock 30K (no change) E) 1K Unlimited (I'm surprised how many people tried this game! Lol!) F) 30K Unlimited (Yup! BANG!) All TWAs will simply be re-banged! |
