Anyone interested in playing a low to medium level Trade Wars game on my server? I've introduced a super planet that every player gets at the beginning of the game. I've also included the Borg. The game is 20,000 sectors and I would be willing to rebang it if others are interested. Each player can have two characters, but only one super planet per player (not character). You can use helpers! I just personally don't like planet dropping and scripted auto attacks. |

I just banged it today. Someone already requested that I take out the aliens and turn down the number of turns. |

I would suggest leaving the aliens in there. When people request their removal it usually means they are a heavy scripter and the aliens throw a wrench into their routine. Personally, I think the aliens help keep the game from getting boring. I say set it up how you want, and anywhere from 2000-2500 turns is perfect in my opinion. |

Gold is handled by the same controls as custom aliens and are better to use in my opinion. Also, if you use old you can enable the Ferrengi Scorpion which makes a great goal for players as a vessel to capture and use. The "internal ferrengi" control on one of the setup screens means they behave like the standard AI traders in a way. If you have this turned on as well then you will end up with 2 types of ferrengi in game and 2 ferrengal home worlds. The internal ferrengi are the ones trigger different logic and talk to you.. forcing you to attack, drop your cargo, or run when you encounter them. The gold ferrengi just attack right away if they are set to aggressive. |

I just banged a game "B" for beginners only please! 20,000 sectors 3 day truce...no laying of fighters so that everyone has a chance to map and no attacking traders Super planet for each person Introduced the BORG as well as Ferr and aliens 10k turns and can have two characters Thanks! |
