Thats right , this is a Unlim 2 day truce.
Don't be surprised , only one ship in game
And it doesn't have figs.

I will be running my NEW SysOp Truce Prep script.
It takes all ships with fighters out of game and prevents truce
breaking , I invite all Sysops and players to try
this game out , it's not as easy as you think to play.
Good luck to those who can survive this type of truce!

Be warned , I didn't touch aliens so if you see them , run !

my new sysop truce prep script .. takes all ships out of play cept the first 3 and it edits them to not have fig, mines & atomics
then at end of truce , changes them back to original setting and installs all other ships back into play.

I'm not trying to turn this into a smack thread, so anyone that thinks I am I'm not. I'm just going to point out a couple of problems with this type truce. This is meant to be a constructive post. Anyway, with no figs in the game, you also need to take out eprobes and limpet mines, otherwise everyone will know where everyones sector is at the end of the truce. Also everything will have to be express colonizing. I like your idea about no atomic dets to keep away nav haz, but hopefully it's not hard to get a good planet or your going to have planets scattered out everywhere and if they go L3 before the truce ends, you'll have nav haz everywhere. Hope it turns out well, I'm just giving you a couple of scenario's to think about in advance. Good Luck.

Thank you D , I do have limps off and no eprobes on ships.
I have already found one problem ... pick your edit right before using
script.

Planets that go > level 2 can be a problem.
Maybe notes in truce rules about cannon settings.

and I am now looking for a SysOp script for sentry patrolling
sectors adjacent to fed or dock to remove planets found
with a timer so I can set frequency of runs.

Next truce will be a different edit where planets don't go to level so fast ;)

Vid,

I have one back home that removes figs and mines at a random interval, would be easy enough to mod it to do what you are looking for. Only issue is that the script is one of my earlier tedit ones and kind of klunky, and gathers the warps by looking at the tedit screens, so it misses back doors. If you would like it to play with let me know and I will send it your way.

Yes LoneStar , fusing can cause haz , but it would take alot to hurt the 1k shields
your ship carries.
That wouldn't make that big of a deal , 4 corpies times 2 pods each.
Plus the fact you would need a bwarp to do it.

But good point none the less.

You're right. I've tried Promethius's truce edit and Vid's (neither of which allow atomics). Basically to grow a set of good planets you got to shoot a lot of torps in a lot of areas to get what you want. It annoying but the alternative (allowing large nav hazards) is probably worse. Makes the game a little different anyway.
