I will be opening a truce edit, WW III, at rivercitytw.dlinkddns.com 2002 on Friday, 08/22 at 7 PM Central. Truce ends Sunday (08/24) at 7 PM Central. The script that ends truce requires 1 minute to complete and fires automatically at 7 PM. Please note some ships have been tweaked from the last game, and the alien planets are a tad bit stronger (and a hurricane is a breeze too). Comments/suggestion thread: http://www.classictw.com/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=20882 Game Setup: Starter ship holds 1 fig, 0 mines, 0 dets, and 0 ptorps. All ships available and except for the starter hold 0 figs, 0 mines, 0 dets, and 0 ptorps. All ships have full shield capacity. Aliens are active and set non-aggressive during truce. Aliens will be set to aggressive at truce end. At 7 PM Central on Sunday, a T-Edit script will run to restore fig, mine, det and ptorp capability, as appropriate, to all ships. Grab your ship, set it up and wait for truce end to grab figs. You will have to check the ship catalog in order for your ship stats to update (don't ask me why). 0 fighters per sector. Bases located in a dead end or tunnel to a dead end can have as many fighters as you want in the air. Base defense options are up to you in sector - this means sector cannons can be hot. The planet names in the edit are somewhat different that the ProGameInfo script produced. Looks like I have a bug that is missing the 2nd word (gets the third tho) of the names. I also need to tweak (bring down) the number of cols in some of them, but will wait for another bang to do that. The game opens Friday the 22nd, and I had Saturday the 22nd listed originally........ |

Game has been banged and is closed until 7 PM tonight. If the game does not start at 7 PM (script running to start) then there has been a problem. I will be AFK on access to the server (no telnet access), but will check the forums for issues. |

It really doesn't matter but i did notice this: (from your post) Planet: High Laser Collies: Fuel: 250000 Organics: 250000 Equipment: 600000 Cit Time: L-1 0 L-2 0 L-3 0 L-4 1 L-5 0 L-6 2 (the actual game) Planetary Shielding System construction on this type of planet requires the following: 20,000,000 Colonists to support the construction, 3,500 units of Fuel Ore, 500 units of Organics, 2,000 units of Equipment and 2 days to construct. LLH Holy s*it!!! That isn't the way that one should be to say the least. I "think" I know how that happened, but will check to make sure. I hope that is the only one like that. |

As it is right now, e-probes are enabled. Since there isn't really a grid up, it makes the universe very transparent to e-probes. Might want to consider if they should be available or not during truce. LLH |
