ICE9 will be rebanging a new game, War Games 2.0
Opens Friday 5/18 at 9PM EST.
10k Sectors
1250 Turns
2 Sec Photons
5 Man Corps
Unregulated Kill'em All Game
No Sweeper Script will be used
ICE9's Sysbot -Messenger Script will be running

vger - you didn't reset the random seed - map is the same as previous game and half the players know where all the ports are already and even ferrengal. please schedule a rebang. i don't like playing with an unfair advantage - i had most of the map probed from the previous game.

One of the strange things I've never understood is why a "random seed" isn't generated automatically by TWGS for any game.

btw, 1,250 turns - just curious does that take more than 5-10 minutes to burn up? ;-)

I know, I cannot think of any situation where someone would want to keep the same map bang after bang after bang.

And with good turn management, yes it does :P
