back to the good old days. I can remember when a 500 sector punyverse was HUGE!

In keeping with my old fart status, this game is 500 sectors, X 500 turns. 3 man corps, 3 planets per sec and timing is set to 56k in, 128k out (like an old ISDN) and 100 ms. Max players set at 50 (I can only wish, eh?) and 100 ships.

Keep it real ladies and gents, I will be observing. obviously heavy scripting is frowned upon and will be dealt with. Game starts at 6:00 PM Mtn time on the button!

I just spotted this one myself. You should post daily about something like this for a week before actually banging the game. Just my two cents. If I know I missed the start of something, I don't even bother taking a peek anymore.

As my games fill up, I'll create new ones. And if you notice on my menu, Game C is scheduled to open on 9/16. I put the notification out there a month before the game opens. #1 because it's summer and people are outside enjoying themselves. #2 I choose that date, a week past the fall tourney so people looking for a game this fall who don't want to play the tourney will have choices.

This was a pet peeve of mine, short notice game resets or bangs. So, we'll see if this works.

The next game I'll create will be one involving aliens, my one original TWA. With the newest settings I think I'll be able to get that one even closer to my vision for what I had intended to be my "signature" game.
