The Swamp BBS is running a World Groups front-end, you cannot telnet straight to the game, and you must log on and create your account. All new accounts get 2 hour time limits before you have to relog and get another two hours. Once your account is verified by voice with the sysop then you will have 24/7 access. Imagine that! Just like in the old days!

When you get to the Trade Wars menu, you'll notice there are a few different games running, the '80's DOS version, and the '90's HVS version and from the J menu you'll access TWGS - running the latest public release of the new beta!

It's here that you'll find my Old School Edit game. Mostly stock settings, a few ship edits for increased holds - twarp for the Dreadnaught. Three alien races some more aggressive than others and they will be grid busting. Low turns, time limit game, mostly stock planets and a few other surprises.

This IS NOT a newbie friendly game, bring your best recollection of game strategies. There are NO truces, NO Fed Safe sectors, NO upgraded ports in open space. Ports are scarce, aliens are trading them down, and the fight is on to gain resources and establish a base of operations. The universe is "cozy" at 10k sectors. Ships move fast! Planets move slower!
