To answer to some previous questions, I get Vid Kid ban because I was seeing that someone was on and off in about 2-3 sec... and so on for a couple of hours... I was thinking that there was a person who want to fail my Game A. I look into the log and saw that he was filling it with ". autodestruct himselft" Also, i tried to chat with him, but he wasn't answering me cause maybe he was afk. So I ban him.. He emailed me and explain the situation. I let him return to play on my server and I discuss with my co-sysop and read some posts on twclassic.com and i decided to not accept those action on the server. So I decide to write that in the post of game A rebang that i don't want that trick being use. My intent wasn't to tell a tactic or someting... cause to me, it's more an exploit than a tactic to do cash and fighters. If he like that, it's his opinion and he may use it on other server and come playing on mine with this limitation. Anyway, he can win without... he prooved it to me. If that tactic was a secret, i wasn't inform.. In truth, i was thinking that I was the only dumd in universe that didn't know it.

Why I let the deathdelay off in game A ? Cause, I want to let people play without waiting 1 day. If someone come play against Vid or a player like him, he will be able to play more than 10 sec... lol, Vid and his friend are very powerfull players and can kick Butt really quickly so I wanna to let others playing their turns if possible without passing 1 day out for 10 sec of play...

Maybe I don't understand someting... If you want to argue with me, I'm open and I will be clearly up to change my mind if there are some points to make me do that.

You might want to consider adding a death limit of 20 or so if you are going have death delay off. That will limit the CBY cashing but still allow players to return to the game after being destroyed. By the time someone hits the 20 death limit they are pretty much done in the game anyway and should be looking for a new game to play. Just a thought...

Good point Scrat, this may be a good limitation to avoid a the absurd of dieing too much.

Lets not forget Scrat , in order for the death limit to work .. the server must also set tournament mode on.
Then I would agree that would prevent cby cashing , but would also eliminate players from constantly being a pain , especially in terms of moth'n.

I'm game either way.
I just find cby cashing to be best way to cash in a low turns game when death delay is off
and you can still turn bank while doing it

Either way guys , I think this SysOp could use more player on his server to show him the many scripts and techniques we players can muster.

This server runs pretty smooth and stable come on in and kill someone today

And one game is to claim all beefed up extra planets in game with death delay on ?
You have to make up your mind , if no photons and players need to moth without duping .. death delay off , would replace the no photons thing.

What are others take on this ?

Good for mothing & cashing and thats it.
I wouldn't call it cheating or an exploit as such. (its too widely known to be an exploit)
Its just part of the game now, like megarob.
If death delay is off, use it, if u dont some1 else will.
Ive got #sd# using it so has many others.
Always happens on new servers hehe

Death delay should always be ON .. unless you build a game around that function
