You are welcome Vid, you will also see many other things it will do on their site as well. Read up on it all, the old one did more than most people knew, I found it out what all it could by accident and let the maker know and showed him as well, then he made a newer version with more on it and now it is out of beta for all to use. I hope you like it Vid. It has way more options than the old one did.

If they are still woring on this, I would like to make a couple feature suggestions.

1. Line drawing mode, used to make menu borders.
2. Text tool, with a variety of large and creative fonts.

@ Micro,

I think the new version does this already, it just doesn't stay the way you configure it when you close the program, and I already sent in the request fo that to be fixed in the next one, whenever it comes out.

Hopefully it will be worked on for a while, the link in this thread is to get the newest version if you haven't got it Micro, go to that link and get it, you can rename the originals exe and the shortcuts path to that new name to keep it on your computer, I have done that, so that I can use both versions on my computer.

I used the two features of TheDraw to make the menu om my TWGS. I don't see anything in Pablodraw that would allow me to do that.

Are you using the new version or the older one? You have to kinda hit and miss on making things the way you want it to work, all of the testers have told them they need to make a better help file and put it in the program to help explain things so everyone can understand how to make it do what they want.

I will play with mine and see if I can get the border lines working and let hou know what you have to do. K.

On the new version you can go to the bottom of the GUI window and see the F key settings you can hit the up arrows and down arrows and find the different line settings and have it set them in the window by using the appropriate F key with the setting set.

With the new version you can also use the settings at the right side of the screen to be able to use the mouse to make the artwork too.

To get the blinking characters, you have to goto the view menu and uncheck the ICE colors, to make the blinking characters and other effects to work too.

You can go to the site and find some help subjects there but they are vague, so I say play with it and try different things to see what you can make it do, and document it and post here, I am going to do the same and try to make a thourogh instruction and help document for the program and send it to the maker and see if he will put it in the next version of the new version.

It is a lot easier the way TheDraw automatically selected the correct line characters based on the direction your curser was Moving. In Pablodraw you can draw a box, but only select a single character. If they would make it so you could select a set of characters (i.e. single line or double line), and then draw a box with that group of characters it would make it much easier to make a menu border.

And the fonts were nice for making large text for a menu headiing or logo... The follwing link should give you an idea what I am talking about:

Pablodraw was created for ANSI art, not simple text menues.

Although I created my menus with TheDraw, I cleaned them up so they are readable in notepad and now I only use notepad to modify them.

The new version can do that, but you have to play with it to get the settings right, which for most it is a lot of hard work, that is why I am going to work on a help file and make instructions on things like that with hopes of making the program easier to understand and use for all people.

But I wil make sure the maker gets these notes to make it simpler to use for others as well. I have to admit, if you haven't used it a lot, things are a bit hard to find and use, I have used the program a lot and have learned where things are and to me it is easy to use, I guess because I have used it a lot.

The new version does a whole lot that the older one doesn't, but you have to know what is what to be able to do it, so I am going to do what is needed and make the help for it, and hope the maker puts it in the next version, if not I will make it available to all myself and fix a link for it if possible for the program.

Here is my TWGS Logon screen from using PabloDraw, it is in the attachment, I may have to put it in a Zip file to post here though.
